Northrop Grumman Space Technology In 1996, the folks at Northrop Grumman (formerly TRW Space & Electronics) needed a precision machining facility that could turn a 21” part and EDM all of the necessary features. They searched a three state area to support the critical and demanding project. After the seventeenth call, they found AMT, Inc. The technical and Quality Assurance managers came down to survey us almost immediately. We completed their project ahead of schedule and have been making complex components and assemblies ever since. TRW develops innovative space, defense and electronics products for its government, commercial and international customers. Their assemblies are “out of this world” . We've fabricated complex spacecraft components made from copper, titanium, beryllium copper, inconel and stainless steel. High-power lasers parts fabricated from Nickel 200 performed flawlessly. TRW develops world -class systems and technologies that contribute significantly to the nation's security and leadership in science and technology.
