EDM Capabilities - Wire EDM

We currently feature seven state-of-the-art Mitsubishi CNC Wire EDM Machines. These machines contain the latest enhancements in this high technology approach to machining, including 4-axis independent programmed shapes. The EDM process is a precise, non-contact technique to remove material. Hard metals (like carbide) as well as heat-treated tool steels can be efficiently EDM cut. The results are burr free and are of high precision.

  • Maximum Weight: 1763 LB
  • Maximum Workpiece Dimension: 35" x 26" x 24" tall
  • Minimum Kerf of Wire: .004"

Any conductive material can be EDM cut to a high precision. Tapered holes and dowel pin holes can be produced to exact size. Tricky shapes and configurations can be created on one of our Cad systems and wire cut efficiently. This is especially beneficial for complex shape parts or mold sections. We will work with you to create the solution to your manufacturing or machining issue. Our in-house skilled personnel include: Toolmakers, Engineers, Mold Makers, CNC Machinists, EDM Specialists, Master Machinists, and Cad Programmers. Design of tools or molds can be accomplished for your turn-key requirements.
